Slating of Governing Boards
There are 3 different boards which the CCLG reviews and ultimately slates for at time of election. Click on the links to learn more about each governing board.
Prior to every election to these governing boards, the Council asks each candidate to complete an application, thoroughly outlining their skills, level of experience, character references and vision for the future. When all applications have been reviewed, candidates are interviewed separately at a Council meeting open to the public. Afterwards, the Council votes --without regard to political affiliation-- to recommend ("slate") those candidates who the Council believes will best serve the residents of La Grange.
